Utilizing the new OARS crank up portable trailer tower. OARS and the members that participated were able to crank out 429 contacts. 

Later it was found that all of those contacts were made using only 5 watts of power! (more to that story as I receive information)

At the top of the tower is a Comet GP9 antenna for FM work, and below that you'll see A flag of the new OARS logo, next a 3 element beam. Finally you can just barely make out a wire running out of the picture, that is a 160 meter OCF Dipole. 

Needless to say the antenna situation was a great one this year and the members are always looking for ways to improve.

Soon the tower will have a PTZ solar charged camera for some on tower glamor shots.

The club is also working on having an American Flag for the tower as well.
