W0OAR Repeaters

The OARS club has two Repeaters, located at a tower facility owned by the Highway Patrol Dept. This tower site is located near Freistatt Missouri.

Below is some more information about the current two repeaters in operation.

146.970 2 Meter Repeater

The OARS 2 Meter repeater operates on a frequency of 146.970 Mhz with a -600Hz offset and a PL tone of 162.2Hz

The Antenna is a CommScope DB224-E Omni Exposed VHF Dipole Antenna and is mounted on the Top of the tower at roughly 200 FT

The elevation at the location of the tower is roughly 1,417 FT

This gives the repeater an average coverage of approximately an 80 Mile line of site radius.

444.150 D-Star Repeater

The Oars D-Star Repeater operates on a frequency of 444.150 Mhz Typical + Offset and no tone. 

The repeater can also be accessed during the D-Star net on REF059A

The Antenna is a CommScope DB408-B Omni Exposed UHF Dipole  and is mounted on the tower at roughly 150 FT
